Privacy & Cookie Policy

This site is a knowledge content platform with no member accounts and no logins. We collect only the following four categories of data

• Site analytics: Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free) help us understand page views and engagement so we can improve content quality
• Newsletter subscription: the email address you voluntarily submit, stored in Cloudflare KV and synced to NewsLeopard for delivery, used solely to send our knowledge newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time
• Sponsorship and e-invoicing: the email, name, message and invoice details (carrier ID, tax ID, invoice title or donation code) you enter on the support page, used to complete payment, issue a Taiwan e-invoice as required by law, and send you confirmation. Your card details are handled entirely by the payment provider; we never receive or store them
• Inquiries: information you provide when you contact us by email or phone, used only to respond to your request

The only cookies used on this site are Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies at all. We manage consent with Google Consent Mode v2: visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland have everything off by default until consent is given; for other regions only analytics is enabled by default (all advertising signals are off)

You can change your choice at any time via the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage and is never sent to third parties

We use the following third-party services, each receiving only the minimum data required to operate

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): site analytics with IP anonymization
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): hosting, CDN, security and cookie-free analytics
• NewsLeopard: newsletter list hosting and email delivery; receives the email address you submit when subscribing
• LINE Pay: online payment for sponsorships; the payment page is served by LINE Pay and your card details never pass through this site
• ECPay: issuing and filing Taiwan e-invoices as required by the Ministry of Finance; receives the invoice details needed to issue them
• No advertising pixels of any kind (no Meta Pixel, no remarketing tags)

Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention periods; newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe, with a copy held at NewsLeopard for delivery; sponsorship order records (including invoice details) are automatically deleted after 90 days, while invoice data required by law is retained by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance e-invoice platform. The entire site is served over HTTPS with security headers including a Content Security Policy (CSP)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (such as your newsletter email or sponsorship order record). Contact [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site indicates awareness of the current version
