That column forces everyone to pause for an extra ten seconds, and that alone often prevents a reprint

As a rule, 04_print-ready should contain exactly one file
If it also holds v05, v06, final, and final_new at the same time, that folder stops meaning anything
When exporting the final PDF, also confirm that the PDF matches the source file
After the designer updates the source file, export the PDF again—don't just hand the AI file to the print shop and say "go by this one."
Prepress workflows typically use the PDF as the main reference for inspection and production. PDF/X is part of the ISO 15930 family of standards for print exchange, designed to reduce discrepancies in fonts, color, transparency, and output conditions
